OK...so shouldn't have said anything about being on a roll. :-)

So, why no updates? Well, no real good excuse, except for work, getting a business up to speed, house repairs, travel for fun, travel for work, etc., etc., etc.

We'll leave the past behind, and work on keeping things here at Musclebearz.com more up to date. Of course that means that you'll need to start sending us pics again. Let us know how you're doing. We've missed you!

In this update, you'll see lots of pics of our new local Buddies, Dan and Mike. They're always looking to meet new budz, so drop them a line.

There are also some cool pics of our Carribean cruise we took last year. We've also updated our events pages with some of the upcoming events we know about, as well as a few pictures from this last year.

Look for some cool gym pics, including a short video of Charlie's bench press contest win last November!

As for Buddies pages, we've got a small one to get things started. Remember to send us your pics so we can have a bigger one next time!

Thanks for your patience during our break. We promise to make a better effort with updates this time around!

We've finally had a chance to post all the pics from Bear Pride and IML in Chicago this year. We had a pretty good time, but we wish the transportation to the events had been better organized, instead of depending on IML's bus.

Thanks to everyone who showed up for the Musclebearz Workout at Quads' Gym! We made some new buddies, and we hope to do these workouts at other events as we get to them. Check out the two pages of pics here and here!

We've also updated our Musclebearz Events page with dates and a few links to some of the fun events coming up.

Please keep using our message boards! They can be a great way to get to know other guys who have similar interests.

We'll have a lot of Musclebearz Buddy pages to add in the next update. Look for it in the next few days....we mean it this time! :-) Send us some of your pics, and we'll be glad to post them! See you soon!

Ok...at this rate we'll be updating twice a year, but we promise to be more on the ball from now on! :-) Look for more updates on a more timely schedule and thanks for you patience!

Drop us a line and let us know if you'll be there!

Next, if you like the comic strip Leonard and Larry, check out this page. It seems that the main publisher of the comic has cancelled it. Since L&L is one of our favorite comics, we want to help get it a second chance. No one draws hunky bears like Tim Barela! Help him out by reading the protest page and dropping an e-mail to the appropriate people! If you have time, a fax or a snailmail letter would get better results....

We're starting a new feature with this update, and that's our message boards! Boards like these are some of the most popular features of other sites, so we thought we'd do a little community building here. Check out the topics and post a message or three. If you can think of any additional topics, let us know and we'll see about adding them. Be nice, and HAVE FUN!

This updates gives us five new buddy pages, Buddies 55, Buddies 56, Buddies 57, Buddies 58, and Buddies 59! Check them out. I know we're probably missing some pics that you all sent in and wanted posted. If we did, we're really sorry! Just send them to us again and we'll put them up pronto!

Finally! Once again, sorry for the wait! We've been so busy with classes, and starting a new computer training business that everything else has gone by the wayside until now. As a new year's resolution, we'll try to be a lot better about updating! Thanks for your patience!

Yes, we know! It's been ages...but once again, we think you'll find it was worth the wait! :-)

First, a BIG THANK YOU to all our overseas and far away Musclebearz Buddies who wrote us expressing their concern over the events of September 11. This is proof once again that the Internet really is making this a smaller world.

Second, John is currently looking for a job. He would prefer contracting for awhile on projects. So, if you are looking for an experienced curriculum developer, technical trainer, or web designer, please write him at his "professional e-mail" and let him know the needs of your project. We know a lot of you are in the same boat these days, so we're thinking about starting a job board here if you think it might help. Let us know what you think!

Now, on with the update! First, you'll find two new Buddies Pages, BUDDIES 49 and BUDDIES 50! We think this catches us up on pictures you all have sent in, but if we forgot someone, let us know!

It seems we've been spending a lot of time up in Denver lately. They have an awesome bear community up there, as we've found out. We went to the FRONT RANGE BEARS' Octobearfest. While it's not as big as IBR or Bear Pride, the guys are just as friendly and we had just as much fun! Thanks guys, especially STEVE and JOHN for hosting us. Check out the pics starting here... We've also listed a few of the upcoming bear events we have dates for. Check them out on our EVENTS page.

While we were up in Denver, we went to the Mile High Push/Pull Powerlifting competition. If you've never been to one, you should! Congrats to our buddy STEVE who won his weight class and set a new PR in the bench. Plus Charlie, JOHN C., BRENT, and KEITH all helped out. In addition to the athletes, there's a ton of really nice "scenery" at most powerlifting competitions, if you get our drift. :-) Check it all out at THE MUSCLEBEARZ GYM.

Also, we've started our new and improved Musclebearz Gym page with pics from a San Francisco April 2001 workout and a powerlifting workout from Denver in July 2001. Finally, we've checked and updated most of our links on our link page.

Here's an update, and we hope you'll agree it's worth the wait.

It's been a busy few months as you can see here. Check out pictures from LAZY BEAR 2001 here. Also, thanks to TREVOR, here are some new pics from this year's BEAR PRIDE and IML in Chicago.

Who says smaller towns don't have Pride? ;-) Check out ALBUQUERQUE'S PRIDE PARADE here. We also have a few pics from our GOING AWAY PARTY in March.

And as usual, check out FOUR NEW MUSCLEBEARZ BUDDY PAGES, including some random party shots taken at the Denver Wrangler.

We think this pretty much catches us up from the LONG moving hiatus. We know we have probably misplaced a few pics, so if you don't see something you've sent us, drop us a note and send it again. We collect our e-mail on several different computers and things have been known to get lost in the shuffle.

Well, finally, WE'RE BACK, in a new city with a new house and a new look for the web site!

First, we want to thank everyone for being so patient. Moving is tough, as we're sure most of you know, especially when it involves house hunting, job hunting, telecommuting, setting up utilities, setting up net access, travel for work, getting admitted to a university, minor remodeling, redecorating, getting lost, finding old buddies, and so on, and so on.... Needless to say, there was no time for updates!  :-)

We're hoping that you'll find the wait worth it. There's a lot of new stuff posted, but there's even more we haven't had time to get to yet. Also the site has been redesigned with plenty of index pages to help you find exactly what you are looking for. Let us know what you think of the new look!

Also, during the move we received tons of e-mail from you all with updated pics, stats, and more. If you don't see what you sent now, please send it to us again! You know how it is during a move! :-)

In this update, you'll find three new MUSCLEBEARZ BUDDY pages. Also, we've transferred over our LINKS page and our ABOUT US page from the old site, with a few updates. On the new EVENTS page look for a list of upcoming fun events. You'll also eventually find pictures here from past events and trips. In the next update, look for some terrific pics from Bear Pride in Chicago (thanks TREVOR and WALT)! The MUSCLEBEARZ GYM page will have workout pics, tips, and competition pics.

You'll also notice you can still access the old site. A lot of people have links to items on it, so we don't want to throw it out yet. As long as we have room on the server, we'll keep the old site up, however it will not be updated.
