 Our buddy ANTHONY in Switzerland has been buring up the Highlands Games circuit. Here he is at the Airth Highland Games in Airth Scotland, in July 2003.....that is a 150 lb caber. They eventually had to cut a piece of the caber off so the guys could toss it end-over-end. |
 Now he's warming up for the 22lb hammer toss in the Fergus Ontario Highland games. He says Canada's games are primarily invite-only...and so he had to come and train there, then show he was good enough at a training meet to get invited.. He got invited back for the amateur championships....and as he puts it, "I did NOT finish last :).....including 6th place in Caber toss!" |
 Finally, the Inverness Highland Games, Inverness, Scotland in July 2003. He had a 5th place finish in a major games in Scotland! Great job, Anthony, and thanks for sharing the pics! Good luck next year!! |
